Castle Frankenstein
The Frankenstein family (with Elizabeth Lavenza and Henry Clerval, of course) sits together in the drawing room after dinner. William and his nanny Justine play quietly, Henry jots down notes for some poem he plans to write, Ernest practices his piano, Elizabeth sews, Victor reads, and Alphonse watches over his children and ward and their friend contentedly. They must savor every moment they have together, for in a few weeks Victor will go to Ingolstadt to realize the dreams of his family and build his future. There is no sorrow about them, though, for every one of them has long known Victor is destined to find only greatness there.
