Writing on a Regency farm
Set on a farming estate in rural England during the Regency period – you are sitting outside the main house, writing the beginning chapter of a novel. Your pen is in one hand, and you stir a cup of tea with the other. Your sisters are inside the house, two of them laughing together, while another practices the pianoforte. Farmhands pass you by on the gravel road to the house, and chickens and geese wander about, but nothing bothers you as you scribble away.
